Sharing Space (The Complete Series) Available Damn Near Everywhere

Even though I’m still waiting for the book to become available via iTunes and Google Play, I thought I’d share all the other places – and there are quite a few – you can find the complete Sharing Space novel.

You can now buy the complete series as one Kindle download for $3.99 here. It includes all six short novellas (naturally) and the excerpt from my next contemporary romance, Lily in the Middle.

You can also purchase the full series in paperback via Amazon here. It’s normally $12.99, but they have a reduced price now of $12.34. I think that’s for Amazon Prime members, but I’m not sure. Either way, if you love the feel of real pages in your hand, this is the way to go. It also includes the Lily in the Middle excerpt. If you’d like to purchase an autographed copy, please contact me before purchasing and we can make arrangements. You can use the contact form on this site.

If you’ve been waiting for the series to become available via Barnes & Noble for the Nook, you’re in luck. You can now download the full book for the Nook device and apps here. The full novel is also available for download at Kobo.

As soon as it’s available for iBooks via iTunes, for the Sony eReader, and Google Play, I’ll post an update.

If you haven’t already, a review on Amazon, Goodreads, B&N, etc. for your favorite book in the series would really be appreciated.

Keep reading. I’m writing.

Before Forever, Sharing Space #6, is Finally Available

It is with great excitement, and a bit of sadness, that I present to you Before Forever, the final book in the Sharing Space series. This whole journey has been amazing and 14 years in the making. I hope you all love it as much as I do. I will admit: I think it’s my favorite. You can purchase it here.

Make sure you continue reading after the end for a special message from me and an excerpt from my upcoming book, Lily in the Middle.

Vote For Book Six’s Title

Thank you all for the great title suggestions. I’ve narrowed it down to the three titles below. Since Facebook has done away with their poll feature, I’m going to upload three photos with a title listed on each. Just “like” the photo with the title you want to win. The title with the most likes will be the title of the final book in the Sharing Space series. You can vote until Friday, January 3rd at 5pm PST.

Title Choices

Pick the Title for Book Six

Happy holidays!

I love this time of year. My husband and I always take off the last two weeks so we can spend time with the kids from Christmas through the first week of January. It’s generally a time of sleeping in, playing games, eating a lot, and just being together. It’s the best two weeks of the year.

This year has been no different except I’m spending a lot of time writing. I have big goals for 2014 and writing every day will help me achieve them.

As I am putting the finishing touches on the final book in the Sharing Space series, I am struggling with a title. It’s the last one, after all, and it has to say so much. My husband, who is intimately aware of what happens in the final book and how it ends, has been trying to help me come up with a title, but we can’t agree on anything. I think we’re both way too close to it and there may be some serious over-thinking going on.

Then we got the bright idea to turn it over to you guys. You’re invested. You know the characters. Why not let you decide? Then we thought we’d make it into a contest because free shit. I mean, who doesn’t like free shit?

So, here’s how it will work:

  • You can submit as many two-word titles for book six as you want.
  • You can leave them in the comments below or on the Facebook status linking this post.
  • You can email them to nina@projectfandom.com if you don’t want to list them publicly.
  • You have until midnight on January 1st, 2014. (PT)
  • I’ll pick my top three favorites and create a Facebook poll where you guys will vote. The title with the most votes by the designated deadline will win.

The title MUST be two words only.

The winner will receive a signed paperback copy of the complete Sharing Space series AND will have a character named after him/her in my next book series scheduled for a May, 2014 release.

Now, you may be wondering how you can think of a title for a story you know nothing about. I got you, boo. Here’s a brief synopsis (no spoilers!) for the final book:

A new year brings a new set of challenges for Chloe and Patrick. Their relationship is still showing signs of strain due to the tragic loss they’ve suffered. When a major opportunity for Patrick leaves Chloe feeling disrespected, she makes a difficult decision she believes is best for both of them.

Distance and the harsh spotlight of fame leave them vulnerable to outside forces dedicated to keeping them apart forever. Can they admit their mistakes and find their way back to one another? If so, will it be too late?

There you go. Help a sistah out.

Keep reading. I’m writing.

In Case You Hadn’t Heard, Book Five Is Here

You would think this would get easier. You would be wrong.

It’s 1:28am PST and I’ve been up since yesterday, 7:45am. Partly because I’m sick – I get sick right before Christmas, always – but mainly because Winter Wishes (Sharing Space #5) is now available and I have nervous tummy.

It doesn’t matter how many 5 and 4-star reviews the first four books have, I still think this is all a fluke and that everyone who liked the previous books will suddenly think they’re all shit. And demand their money back. As if awakened from a spell, they’ll flick through their Kindles and wonder how the fuck those stupid books got there.

This is very much like sending your kids off to school, out into the world, and hoping that people like them. That people get them. And that if they don’t, they’ll at least still be kind to them because they’re your babies.

So, book five is here. I really hope you like my baby.

WinterWishes_CVR_LRG

I can’t reveal much without giving away major spoilers, so we’ll leave it at this:

Tis the season of giving and togetherness, but a conniving ex and a family tragedy threaten to tear Chloe and Patrick apart.

You can download Winter Wishes, the fifth book in the Sharing Space series, for your Kindle device or app VERY SOON. You can get caught up on the series by downloading books 1 thru 4 here.

My book, Blog It Out, Bitch is also available as a free Kindle download for a limited time.

The Book Review That Makes Me Want to Write Forever

Even though I am well aware that everything isn’t for everyone, it still stings a bit to get a negative review for something you’ve written. And not just written, but created and nurtured. Over time, I’ve learned to react to them appropriately: reflect on what points were made that could make my writing better, remember that everyone won’t like what I write and that’s okay, and then keep it moving. It helps when the majority of your reviews are positive. You feel like you’re connecting with the right audience. So, now I let the 1 or 2-star reviews get me down for about fifteen minutes, and then I brush it off and carry on.

Today, I was in Goodreads updating my shelves (Add me! I like connecting with readers there.) when I noticed that Roommate Wanted (Sharing Space #1) had new text reviews. The most recent one was left about two weeks ago and it made me laugh so hard, I had to share. It’s in Spanish, so I used Google Translate to post it here. The words, and pictures, are all from user Sitahiri, my new favorite reader:

I loved it!

Nina, thanks for introducing me to my new book boyfriend: Patrick Murphy. 🙂

Patrick Murphy Sharing Space

A light reading , a refreshing change …

A simple and uncomplicated plot, but do not misunderstand me, it is exactly this simplicity and the way it flows naturally what makes a great story.

A story with funny scenes and characters with common problems that we all can have.

Chloe talks to her friend and herself, her reaction when she meets Patrick, her conversations with him, it had me laughing most of the time.

In this first part we mostly get to know some of the characters and their families.

Chloe is a fun girl who fights for what she wants, he does not care much preconceived standards of others with respect to race and who is not afraid to speak her mind (well, as long as it is not her mother. With her she uses more finesse and avoids conflicts.)

Then there is Patrick, aspiring actor, but with his feet on the ground. Since we know that is not so easy to get a chance in that environment and has the financial backing of full-time work in what is given his big break. Focused, fun, polite and with a smile dimpled votios 1000 included in the package.

In short, say that the story that unfolds in this first part of the series is like a good meal, no seasoning surpasses others, but that all comes together to form a delicious taste that leaves you with a good taste in mouth satisfied and wanting more.

And…

Supernatural GIF

I highly recommend! So come on, give in to the temptation to give it a try to this amusing story.

Tangled GIF

Sweet, right? And how hot is their vision of Patrick? I approve!

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must get back to writing.
