Pick the Title for Book Six

Happy holidays!

I love this time of year. My husband and I always take off the last two weeks so we can spend time with the kids from Christmas through the first week of January. It’s generally a time of sleeping in, playing games, eating a lot, and just being together. It’s the best two weeks of the year.

This year has been no different except I’m spending a lot of time writing. I have big goals for 2014 and writing every day will help me achieve them.

As I am putting the finishing touches on the final book in the Sharing Space series, I am struggling with a title. It’s the last one, after all, and it has to say so much. My husband, who is intimately aware of what happens in the final book and how it ends, has been trying to help me come up with a title, but we can’t agree on anything. I think we’re both way too close to it and there may be some serious over-thinking going on.

Then we got the bright idea to turn it over to you guys. You’re invested. You know the characters. Why not let you decide? Then we thought we’d make it into a contest because free shit. I mean, who doesn’t like free shit?

So, here’s how it will work:

  • You can submit as many two-word titles for book six as you want.
  • You can leave them in the comments below or on the Facebook status linking this post.
  • You can email them to nina@projectfandom.com if you don’t want to list them publicly.
  • You have until midnight on January 1st, 2014. (PT)
  • I’ll pick my top three favorites and create a Facebook poll where you guys will vote. The title with the most votes by the designated deadline will win.

The title MUST be two words only.

The winner will receive a signed paperback copy of the complete Sharing Space series AND will have a character named after him/her in my next book series scheduled for a May, 2014 release.

Now, you may be wondering how you can think of a title for a story you know nothing about. I got you, boo. Here’s a brief synopsis (no spoilers!) for the final book:

A new year brings a new set of challenges for Chloe and Patrick. Their relationship is still showing signs of strain due to the tragic loss they’ve suffered. When a major opportunity for Patrick leaves Chloe feeling disrespected, she makes a difficult decision she believes is best for both of them.

Distance and the harsh spotlight of fame leave them vulnerable to outside forces dedicated to keeping them apart forever. Can they admit their mistakes and find their way back to one another? If so, will it be too late?

There you go. Help a sistah out.

Keep reading. I’m writing.

Slow Burn Is Available Early!

Because my editor is a machine – a fabulous machine with a gorgeous smile and beautiful hair – Slow Burn, book three in the Sharing Space series, is available now! That’s right. You can get your hands on the next installment in the Chloe and Patrick love story a full two weeks early!

Book four is scheduled for a pre-Thanksgiving release and will most likely be early as well, but that’s not set in stone.

Here’s what you can expect in Slow Burn, part three of this six-part romance novel:

Finally admitting what they share is more than just friendship, Chloe and Patrick begin to explore a romantic relationship.

As Patrick watches his childhood friendships crumble, Chloe’s arms prove to be his one place for comfort. Chloe struggles with her reasons for taking the romance slow. Does she have doubts about Patrick or is she still affected by her ex’s betrayal?

One thing is for sure: Taking it slow may give their new love the best chance at lasting, but ignoring their passion is easier said than done.

Book four in the Sharing Space series will be available just in time for Thanksgiving.

Sharing Space Book Three ‘Slow Burn’ Coming Soon

Hey guys!

Before I get to all the good stuff and praise, I wanted to address a question I received on Facebook and in an Amazon review:

Every three weeks I’m releasing another book in the Sharing Space series. The series is currently expected to be six books in total. At .99 cents per book, that’s a full-size contemporary romance novel for $5.94 – $4.95 if you took advantage of the free promotion for book one. If, for some reason, the series ends up being seven books, I will release book seven for free. I don’t see that happening as the story is complete, but I am working with an amazing editor who really understands pacing in storytelling. She may suggest splitting the final book. Either way, my promise to you is that you will get the full Chloe and Patrick story for no more than $5.94.

Now, praise time! Thank you guys so much for purchasing the books so far, leaving Amazon and Goodreads reviews, and engaging on my Facebook page. It has truly meant a lot. If you’ve not yet had a chance to leave a review, please do so. It really helps indie authors expand their audience.

Finally, have a look at the cover for book three, Slow Burn.
