A Year-Long Detour

I cannot believe it’s been little more than a year since I’ve posted here, and checked in with you guys. Then again, a lot of this past year has gone by in a haze of stress and grief.

One of my best friends died in October of 2014. It was unexpected and affected me in ways I wasn’t fully aware of until recently.

This year, my website (Project Fandom) flourished, my podcasts grew, and I took on more writers. I collaborated on a five-book series with a friend, so I was writing. I was definitely doing things, things I enjoyed, but I wasn’t doing everything I wanted to do.

And it’s time for that to change.

I’ve spent the past two weeks mapping out my 2016 releases. Hopefully, you’re all still interested enough to read them.

  • February 2016: Lily in the Middle
  • June 2016: Sharing Space sequel (told in six parts)
  • September 2016: A book of short stories
  • December 2016/January 2017: CHRONOS Files novel for Kindle Worlds

I’m also working on a graphic novel and web series, both illustrated by my daughter.

So, apologies for my absence and thank you to everyone who kept checking in, asking about my upcoming books. That meant a lot.

Sharing Space (The Complete Series) Available Damn Near Everywhere

Even though I’m still waiting for the book to become available via iTunes and Google Play, I thought I’d share all the other places – and there are quite a few – you can find the complete Sharing Space novel.

You can now buy the complete series as one Kindle download for $3.99 here. It includes all six short novellas (naturally) and the excerpt from my next contemporary romance, Lily in the Middle.

You can also purchase the full series in paperback via Amazon here. It’s normally $12.99, but they have a reduced price now of $12.34. I think that’s for Amazon Prime members, but I’m not sure. Either way, if you love the feel of real pages in your hand, this is the way to go. It also includes the Lily in the Middle excerpt. If you’d like to purchase an autographed copy, please contact me before purchasing and we can make arrangements. You can use the contact form on this site.

If you’ve been waiting for the series to become available via Barnes & Noble for the Nook, you’re in luck. You can now download the full book for the Nook device and apps here. The full novel is also available for download at Kobo.

As soon as it’s available for iBooks via iTunes, for the Sony eReader, and Google Play, I’ll post an update.

If you haven’t already, a review on Amazon, Goodreads, B&N, etc. for your favorite book in the series would really be appreciated.

Keep reading. I’m writing.

Before Forever, Sharing Space #6, is Finally Available

It is with great excitement, and a bit of sadness, that I present to you Before Forever, the final book in the Sharing Space series. This whole journey has been amazing and 14 years in the making. I hope you all love it as much as I do. I will admit: I think it’s my favorite. You can purchase it here.

Make sure you continue reading after the end for a special message from me and an excerpt from my upcoming book, Lily in the Middle.

Pick the Title for Book Six

Happy holidays!

I love this time of year. My husband and I always take off the last two weeks so we can spend time with the kids from Christmas through the first week of January. It’s generally a time of sleeping in, playing games, eating a lot, and just being together. It’s the best two weeks of the year.

This year has been no different except I’m spending a lot of time writing. I have big goals for 2014 and writing every day will help me achieve them.

As I am putting the finishing touches on the final book in the Sharing Space series, I am struggling with a title. It’s the last one, after all, and it has to say so much. My husband, who is intimately aware of what happens in the final book and how it ends, has been trying to help me come up with a title, but we can’t agree on anything. I think we’re both way too close to it and there may be some serious over-thinking going on.

Then we got the bright idea to turn it over to you guys. You’re invested. You know the characters. Why not let you decide? Then we thought we’d make it into a contest because free shit. I mean, who doesn’t like free shit?

So, here’s how it will work:

  • You can submit as many two-word titles for book six as you want.
  • You can leave them in the comments below or on the Facebook status linking this post.
  • You can email them to nina@projectfandom.com if you don’t want to list them publicly.
  • You have until midnight on January 1st, 2014. (PT)
  • I’ll pick my top three favorites and create a Facebook poll where you guys will vote. The title with the most votes by the designated deadline will win.

The title MUST be two words only.

The winner will receive a signed paperback copy of the complete Sharing Space series AND will have a character named after him/her in my next book series scheduled for a May, 2014 release.

Now, you may be wondering how you can think of a title for a story you know nothing about. I got you, boo. Here’s a brief synopsis (no spoilers!) for the final book:

A new year brings a new set of challenges for Chloe and Patrick. Their relationship is still showing signs of strain due to the tragic loss they’ve suffered. When a major opportunity for Patrick leaves Chloe feeling disrespected, she makes a difficult decision she believes is best for both of them.

Distance and the harsh spotlight of fame leave them vulnerable to outside forces dedicated to keeping them apart forever. Can they admit their mistakes and find their way back to one another? If so, will it be too late?

There you go. Help a sistah out.

Keep reading. I’m writing.

Tis the season of giving and togetherness, but a conniving ex and a family tragedy threaten to tear Chloe and Patrick apart.

Taking Chances, Sharing Space #4 is Available Now

I’ve been so busy I am just now finding the time to tell you that Taking Chances (Sharing Space #4) is available for download at Amazon.com. It’s been available since Saturday night, but between work, writing, running Project Fandom, and recording Podcast Fandom, I haven’t had a chance to promote it fully.

As you can tell, I’ve been publishing the series ahead of schedule. This is due, in part, to the quick work by my illustrator, Steven Novak, and my editor at Clean Leaf Editing. Mainly, I’ve been anxious to get each book into your hands because of your wonderful support and enthusiastic feedback.

If you haven’t already, Amazon and Goodreads reviews go a long way in helping me find new readers so if you’ve been enjoying the series so far and could leave a quick review, that would be so appreciated.

You can pick up your copy of Taking Chances here.

TakingChances_CVR_LRG

Taking Chances is the fourth book in the six-part Sharing Space series. A new book will be available for Kindle download every few weeks. Each book is a short, fun, and sexy read that will leave you wanting more.

Patrick comes under scrutiny when Chloe’s mother visits for Thanksgiving. Will he live up to the standards Mrs. Brooks has for her daughter? And how will the Murphy clan react when they learn Patrick’s new love is black?
